If it looks pretty at first glance, isn't that enough? I use it by pouring ice and water, and seeing that it doesn't break shows it's quite sturdy.

It has a super quality. It doesn’t leak at all (at least yet). It’s actually glass with a plastic lid. Also the stray is actual glass.
