I ordered this product (actually, i ordered two) so that i could easily make small hexagonal ice cubes for cooling drinks when the weather gets warmer. I have had a bit of a problem trying to get the ice pieces out of the mold. The little hexagonal ice cubes just do not seem to want to leave the tray. I have found that if you let the tray sit on the counter for a little while and warm up that the cubes will come out of the mold a little easier. Time will tell as to whether this product will work well enough.
