I received this item in a very timely manner. No tools needed to install the batteries; it requires 2 aa batteries (not included). I didn’t notice any indication of which direction the batteries needed to be installed so my first attempt was of course backward. Upon correction, the whisk worked beautifully! Nice and powerful and the button slider does not keep the item on, once pressure is released from the slider the device turns off.
