7. What returns and remedies standards apply?
- You must comply with the returns and remedies standards required on JoyPicks and with all mandatory consumer rights that apply.
- JoyPicks offers a 14-day return period for every customer in every country. A buyer may notify us within 14 days of receiving the item that they are withdrawing from the purchase without giving a reason, then return the item within 14 days of that notice, unused, with tags and original packaging.
- For change-of-mind returns accepted under this policy, the buyer pays the return postage to the return address provided, which may be overseas. You must provide a workable return solution consistent with the Marketplace Seller Agreement.
- Refunds for accepted withdrawal or change-of-mind returns are made to the buyer's original payment method, in the currency paid, within 14 days of receipt of the returned item or proof of posting. We may reduce the refund if the item has been used more than necessary to inspect it.
- The following are not returnable for change of mind: underwear, swimwear and lingerie with the hygiene seal removed after delivery, pierced earrings, and items made to the buyer's specification.
- Faulty, damaged, wrong or not-as-described items must always be resolved at no cost to the buyer. Depending on the circumstances, this may be by repair, replacement or refund, and we may require you to pay return costs or allow the buyer to keep the item.
- Statutory rights apply in addition to marketplace policy, including rights under laws such as the Australian Consumer Law, New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the legal guarantee of conformity in the EU.
- You must respond promptly to customer service issues and Buyer Protection matters. If a claim is decided in the buyer's favour, you authorise us to refund the buyer and recover the amount from sums otherwise payable to you.
- Buyer Protection claim windows on JoyPicks are: item not received, from the latest estimated delivery date until 30 days after it; item not as described or faulty, within 30 days of delivery. Mandatory legal rights continue beyond those windows where the law provides them.
